Veg Biryani Recipe

Ingredients:

Basmati Rice 1500 grams (1 and half kilo)
Onion Two medium size choppes
Red chili powder One teaspoon
Green Coriander powder One teaspoon
All spice powder (Garam masala) One teaspoon
Green Coriander  Two Tablespoon chopped
Dry fruits One cup
Saffron Half teaspoon
Tomato paste Four tablespoon
Garlic paste One Tablespoon
Ginger paste One Tablespoon
Turmeric (Haldi) Half teaspoon
Salt  As per your taste
Oil and butter Half cup
Fresh Cream One Tablespoon
Peas 125 grams
Carrot 125 grams
Cabbage 125 grams
Potato 125 grams
Any vegetable you like 125 grams


How to make (Veg Biryani Recipe):
  • Heat up oil and butter in a large stewpot (Degchi).

  • Put all the vegetables, onion, tomato paste, ginger paste, garlic paste, all spice powder (garam masala), turmeric, red chili, one teaspoon coriander, salt, saffron and cream and then cook it.
  • All vegetables are  supposed to be cooked till now.
  • Keep one thing in mind, do not over cook the vegetables.
  • Now add rice in these vegetables.
  • Cover the stewpot and seal it with flour so that the steam does not escapes.
  • Keep it on a low flame for ten minutes.
  • Serve it in a dish after it is cooked.
  • Garnish it by sprinkling green coriander and dry fruits on it.
  • This dish is for 8 people.
  • For best results serve it with Raita.
